We finish up in Norfolk, with the Investigators making an impassioned pleas for the books to be sent on to the Dalley-DelMorte Foundation, and bidding a farewell to Inspector Harris.

Mr Warfestache’s fragile mental state seems to have subsided, but is his grasp on reality as solid as it seems? He seems to be regarding the Knuckle dusters given to him by the Inspector almost with religious regard.

Returning to London, they proceed to the DDF intending to remonstrate with Henry Terrence-Smythe for sending them into danger.
