. One of my clients said that laughter is the only emotion you can feel where you cannot multi-task. Like you can be crying and typing out that letter to someone who broke up with you, but you can't be laughing and doing the same thing. I said what about laughing and wetting your pants. Ok, that you can still do. 

 

This week I'm talking about the health benefits of laughing, and one of the benefits reachers have found is that it may burn calories.

 

RESEARCHERS AT VANDERBILT UNIVERSITY: did a study where

-90 people watch comedy video clips:

There’s Something About Mary & Saturday Night Live.

 

CONCLUSION:

-Laughing burned about 1.3 calories per minute—about 10 to 20% more than in a calm state. That’s the same as doing some light indoor gardening??? Really – is that a thing? How dirty is your house?

 

Diane sawyer had a doctor on her show that said 15 minutes of laughing equals 30 minutes on the treadmill!

 

So find things to laugh about every day . . . Wouldn't that be cool if we could just laugh away all the weight we're gaining.
