Chapter 8 - The Great Con

In Chapter 8 I talk about how my dad cheated on my mom, conned my sister and I for a year, and how I have dealt with all of that. I would like to say that I have since forgiven my dad and have dissolved the past. When I think about him I feel sad, for him, but the past doesn't hurt me anymore.

I'm going to get more into this in later chapters but I read The Power of Now by Eckart Tolle and it helped me learn how to dissolve the past. I've let my past haunt me my whole life! I'm so happy that I finally learned how to do this and I hope that you learn how to someday as well! 

We all feel like we are alone at some point in our life, that no one has ever gone through what I’m going through. This is true because we are all looking at life through a different lens. I want you to know that no matter what you have gone through in your life you are NOT alone.
