Chapter 1 - Who Am I?

I am a hairstylist in Austin, I live on Lake Travis with my boyfriend Dan, our dog Owen and our crazy cat Ziggy. My mission is to share all that I have learned in business and personal development, I’m really passionate about women entrepreneurs and I want us all to be doing well and living amazing lives. 

How did this all start? Well, my sister’s wedding broke up my relationship, in the best way possible! I realized “Holy Shit, I could never marry this dude that I’m with.” Two weeks later I moved back to Oklahoma. 

My life really changed after I started seeing my therapist two times a week. I started getting obsessed with self-help books and podcasts like Britt Seva’s Thriving Stylist, The Rise with Rachel Hollis, The Ed Mylett Show, The MFCEO Project and Rise Together with Dave and Rachel Hollis. 

My vision for this podcast is to share business and the results that I’ve seen from all this personal development that I’ve been doing. I want to share my journey with you in real-time. I’m going to give you the back story in the first few chapters, and then going forward it’s going to be real-time. I want to share my successes and failures. I just want to be real and help people. I want to have a tribe of people always learning and sharing what works for you.
