It's Season 4 of Filmed Obscura, and Chris and Justin are diving into "tougher content" cinema this time around. The format has changed slightly: one film per episode and ten episodes encompassing the season. They're off to good start with Chris' pick for the month: The Seasoning House. Directed by Paul Hyett, this film is a sad, dirty, heavy film about forced prostitution and addiction, violence and corruption, and redemption. Revenge hovers over the film but it's not I Spit on Your Grave. It also has Eastern European McGruber. It's the perfect start to a fun-filled season of dread. Don't forget to grab your favorite beverage while tuning in...that has not changed.
