Ep. 86 Is it Shadow or Envy? Unpacking Love/Hate Towards Influencers & Finding Your Values

This episode is somewhat of a follow up to Ep. 82 How to Do Shadow Work With the People Who Trigger You on Social Media. In this episode I tell you a little story about an influencer that I had a love/hate relationship with on social media. I dive into how I unpacked the situation, what "shadows" I uncovered and what the situation revealed about my values. I also discuss what makes specific influencers compelling to us, what motivates people to "like" content and what the process of engaging with specific creators' content reveals about our values. This episode is part of an ongoing conversation around being an authentic content creator and being conscious of our relationship to social media and the people on it.
