BAD THINGS, further solidifies this, with its focus squarely on (queer) female characters who aren't afraid to be messy. In Mike Leigh's play ABIGAIL'S PARTY, filmed for television in 1977, Beverly Moss is the life of the party...whether the party wants her to be or not!
