PIVOT! PIVOT! PIVOT! Oh, how can we all hear Ross saying this as the "Friends" (Rachel & Chandler) are helping to get a new couch up the staircase. We can be going along and all of a sudden, an obstacle or block tries to stop us in our tracks, and we have to PIVOT. Not easy & lots of frustrating. There are times we are sitting in our comfort zone, and we know we need to PIVOT from the easy, known, and familiar to something better (again, not easy & definitely uncomfortable). Oh goodness, how many times the conversation in our head is not serving- and boy do we hit replay on it and add in more to the story and every time we tell it, it builds more negative energy...and it keeps going and going until we shut it down and PIVOT!!! After the uncomfortable and unknown and frustration from having to PIVOT- we can look back with a sense of satisfaction and pride in having figured out a new way, learning something new or discovering something totally different from the PIVOT. There is power in the pivot!!
