Sruthi Chowdhary grew up in the South Indian region of Andhra Pradesh, she spent her first years of freedom as a teenager exploring the local markets and began to fall in love with the variety of flavors and textures available. While pursuing a masters degree in New York she realized her true passion lay in bringing the tastes and dishes of her childhood to the restaurant scene in New York City.
