Whitney Taylor is a fitness lover, entrepreneur, and long time friend of coaches Garry and Hailey. Taylor’s company Strength In Light shows women how to level up their nutrition and fitness routine to attain the body they've always dreamed of.

[4:00] Whitney starts the story of her fitness background and becoming a runner against all odds. [8:00] Nutritional deficit led Whitney to fracture her pelvis training for a marathon. This proved to her that she needed to focus more on learning proper nutrition for the longevity of her body and hobbies. That’s when I started researching how do I fix this. , ” Whitney Taylor [21:00] Garry talks about his own catalyst moment, with ulnar abutment in his wrists, that he knew he needed to take control of his health more seriously. [27:00] Expanding her range of activities into swimming, biking, and strength training proved to Whitney that she was capable of more than the doctors thought possible. [34:00] Covering the importance of setting a good “why” and making sure you force yourself to remember the why and not to get lost in the noise of everyday life. [39:00] The continual improvement of health and endurance through strength training but, at the same time learning to reign in the “do more, be better” frame of mind. Understanding what recovery is and mean for you as an individual. “Before we get the point of tears, let’s figure out the warning signs before and listen to what your body is saying when it’s like, ‘Hey, red flag lady. Hailey Grandchamp ([email protected]) earned her BA in psychology and MA in early childhood education and spent the past 4 years teaching 1st grade in Baltimore City.
