Pete's notes, on the other hand, say we have a very special treat this week.

In the late 80's, the producers of the Friday the 13th films decided they wanted more, so they made a TV series based around their slasher property.

Except it wasn't a slasher, it was a "mystery of the week" horror show.
And Jason wasn't in it.
And it didn't take place at Crystal Lake.
And it was about two cousins trying to retrieve cursed antiques so innocent people didn't get hurt by a Satanic curse.

So, nothing at all to do with the brand name they slapped on this show. Enjoy!
