What is Your Faith Worth?- Too Good To Be True

This is our third week in our series titled “Too Good to Be True”. There are many stories in the Bible that center around characters with big faith. God blessed the people in scripture who took risks and obeyed His Word even when they weren’t sure of the outcome. Looking at these stories, it may feel like their faith is something unattainable, and even if it is, some crazy miracle isn’t going to happen as a result, right?  This week, Chris Voltz shares the story of the prophet Elisha and how he gave up his comfort, security and time to honor God and,   because of that great faith, his legacy lived on, even after death. 

Discussion Questions

1. Who is your favorite Avenger and why?
2. On a scale from 1 to 10, how much would you say you are investing into your faith right now?
3. Has there ever been a time that you made a big faith decision and saw God’s blessing? Share the story with your group or with a friend.
4. What are a few things you can be doing this week to begin to sacrifice your comfort, security and time for the sake of someone else?

Covid-19 Precautions 

1. If you’re not feeling well, please wait to attend on campus until you’re fully healthy.
2. We have two on-campus Sunday services: 9:30 and 11am (Our 11:00am service is live online on our Facebook Page and YouTube Channel)
3. We provide kids ministry (birth – 5th grade) at 9:30am and kids and middle school (6th-8th grade) at our 11:00am service. High school ministry meets Sundays at 6:00pm on-campus.
4. We encourage facial coverings per the current state health order. We are minimizing some common touchpoints, providing hand sanitizer, and offering some increased spacing in seating areas.
