Carin' For Karen- Calm Down Karen

This week's message is the second in our three week sermon series, “Calm Down Karen!” We all know a Karen... Someone who is ready to argue with anyone about anything at any time. Whether you like it or not, those people still need the love of Jesus. How do you deal with those people in a way that points them away from explosive anger and towards the love of Christ? Pastor Chris Voltz shares this weeks message titled, “Carin’ for Karen”

Discussion Questions

1. Do you prefer a chocolate or vanilla Frosty from Wendy’s
2. How have you dealt with a “Karen” that God put in your path? Is there anything that you would do differently if you had to go through that again?
3. Who is a “Karen” in your life that you need to care for? Which of the three action steps do you need to take with them? (connect, comfort or confront)
4. Who is someone that can support you in making sure you follow through with that step? How can they hold you accountable?

Covid-19 Restrictions

1. If you’re not feeling well, please wait to attend on campus until you’re fully healthy.
2. We have two on-campus Sunday services: 9:30 and 11am (Our 11:00am service is live online on our Facebook Page and YouTube Channel)
3. All ages are welcome in the auditorium. We provide kids and middle school ministries at our 11:00am service and starting October 18th, childcare will be provided at both services! High school ministry meets Sundays at 6:00pm on-campus.
4. Facial coverings will be required per the current state health order. We’ll encourage general social distancing by minimizing some common touch points, providing hand sanitizer, and offering some increased spacing in seating areas. (During this time, bring your own java…we know it’s a bummer, but it won’t be forever!)
