The Duende - Cyptid

Hidden in the shadows of global folklore, the Duende is a small, humanlike creature often described as no taller than two feet, covered in wild hair, sometimes bearded, and frequently seen wearing a wide-brimmed red or gold hat. Though its appearance may echo the gnomes or goblins of European myth, the Duende carries a far darker reputation. It is a creature said to lure children into the forest, live within walls, or punish those who trespass on sacred ground. Across the globe, the Duende is feared, and for good reason.
