Brent Hayward AKA Fats White is the legend, the myth, the picture of a life dedicated to breaking and bending the straight lines around us. A multidisciplinary artist working in the corners of painting, video, sound and music, Hayward was front man for the incomparable Shoes This High, one of the greatest post-punk no-wave bands ever to do it on the motu, following an early run in The Amps. Going on to form The Kiwi Animal (aka Smelly Feet), Hayward now rolls out sonic vibrations under the persona Fats White.
