21st Sunday in Ordinary Time – August 24, 2025
Gospel: Luke 13:22–30
“Strive to enter through the narrow gate.” These words of Jesus are not meant to soothe us but to wake us up. In this homily, Fr. Korey warns against gossip, prejudice, and division that poison the Body of Christ. The Eucharist is not neutral: He will either save us or condemn us. God’s discipline is not rejection. It is the only love that sets us free.
Preached at Saint Edward Catholic Church in Richard, Louisiana.
