After having such a fun chat over Return of the Jedi, Andy of Fat Dude Digs Flicks and Blake of Back Lot 605 decided to join forces for a side podcast discussing their love of The Criterion Collection. Every so often, the two will get together to chat about a movie or two from the collection or currently streaming on The Criterion Channel. In this first episode, the duo discuss a couple of their memorable Criterion discoveries, Terry Gilliam’s Brazil (1985; Spine #51) and Paul Fejos’s Lonesome (1928; Spine #623). These are movies that may have otherwise slipped through the cracks for them, if not for the fine folks at Criterion and their work on these spectacular releases.
