30. the marriage myth

They told us marriage would fix everything that love would heal our scars, that companionship would erase our loneliness, that a spouse would finally make us whole. But what if that promise was never true? In this episode, i peel back the layers of the marriage myth and confront the illusions we’ve been fed. Marriage doesn’t cure wounds it reveals them. It doesn’t complete you it mirrors you. It doesn’t replace Allah it brings you face to face with your own need for Him. i talk about the difference between cultural fairytales and the prophetic reality of marriage. This isn’t a fairytale episode it’s a call to unlearn the myth of completion and to rediscover the true meaning of sakan, mercy, and companionship in marriage.
