Thyatira - A Holy Inspection

The church of Thyatira was a church zealously committed to love and good deeds.  Like many churches of our day, they excelled in social Justice, and serving as the hands and feet of Jesus, extending compassion towards those who needed it.  Yet in time, their love grew without discernment, and in the name of tolerance they began to love the very things that Jesus hates.  In this message we’ll examine what it looks like to be a church that is all love with no truth and learn how we can guard ourselves from the cultural temptation of compromise.  The lesson of Thyatira is blunt:  be careful to not compromise the Truth, do not go back to ways you were called out of.
