This podcast is recorded on the lands of the Ngunnawal and Ngambri People. We pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging and to any Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people listening.

Welcome to Episode 7 of F#@% them fish: ADHD for grownups. A big welcome to all our new listeners who have just found our octopus community and a massive hug to all our regular listeners... we love how many of you come back each week and share your stories with us. We love that we can be part of your experience xx

In this special episode, we talk to our family GP (General Practitioner) - our regular family Doctor, for everyone listening in other parts of the world wondering what a GP is. Dr Diana Kirk is incredibly open about her own neurodivergence - having multiple diagnoses - and how that complements her extensive professional and academic experience, to give her incredible insight and empathy for people seeking answers about their own potential neurodivergence.

You don't want to miss these episodes. We do not hold back from the questions sent in by listeners, and Dr Di, is authentic and vulnerable, as well as being very funny!

Sidequests:

  • The US Healthcare System - they don't have GPs!
  • Dr Di's rom com romance - seriously romantic
  • Freud is gross and Skinner was abusive...we put them firmly in the bin
