This podcast is recorded on the lands of the Ngunnawal and Ngambri People. We pay respect to Elders past, present, and emerging, and to any Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people listening.
This podcast is all about our experience with late ADHD diagnosis and the questions we have as we continue to navigate life. This podcast is in no way medical advice or intended to be used as a diagnostic tool. That applies for any guests we have on too!
Welcome to episode 18! She's baaack! Dr Di is back, but as you've never heard her before. We have had so many requests to hear more about how Di navigates life as a triple threat, with diagnoses (diagyeses) of Autism, ADHD, and dyslexia. If you haven't met Di before, she is a General Practitioner medical professional, biologist, and did a PhD in Neuroscience. Despite being told her whole life that she wasn't smart enough to practice medicine, she set about proving everyone wrong. She IS a medical doctor and learnt a few other things on the way there. Di is also a parent, with her daughter, Seija (Slug Sleija) present in the studio as an honorary producer. Her story is incredibly interesting and of course we have multiple sidequests along the way.
Note: We did get a bit loose in this ep...sorry not sorry!
