Episode 15 | Artist Joyce Billet | Fragmented Reality

In this episode of the Exploring Art podcast, we spoke with French -American artist Joyce Billet. Joyce is a painter/sculptor with an extensive background in architecture. We talk with her about her main influences as an artist, the message she wishes to convey in her art, and her process when making a new piece. We learn about a new project she's working on, "Fragmented Reality" which addresses the social disconnection between people during COVID-19. We wrap up the interview discussing the differences between working in Miami and New York, and advice for future artists.
