SCOTT ABBOTT heads up an amazing team at the Sacramento Running Association that organizes the California International Marathon. The CIM takes place the first Sunday in December and has been doing so successfully for 39 years. And this year is set to break all records with over 10,000 runners to toe the start line in Folsom, California. Scott is a decorated runner himself and has made that world his career. Sacramento is fortunate to have someone like Scott at the helm. You will love today's conversation covering a lot of fun topics!

Our Connection | Scott and I go way back. We met at St. Michael's where we taught together. As Scott became a part of the Sacramento Running Association, he invited me to call races. That started with my first CIM Finish Line assignment in 2015. It's been a great run! And fun fact ... I was the DJ for Scott and his wife Katie's wedding!
