Blue is the New White #59 - Brandi R. Ferenc, HVAC Technician

Today, I get to sit down with such a great personality. Brandi R. Ferenc is an HVAC technician by trade and absolutely loves what she does. She grew up in a blue collar family, but admittedly didn’t desire to pursue that path in high school. It wasn’t until she realized that what she went to school for wasn’t what she wanted to do for the rest of her life, that she switched gears. Many people don’t take that leap, especially in their mid-30s. But Brandi didn’t hesitate. After 3 years of an apprenticeship in electric she decided to start all over again in HVAC. Since then she has been off to the races creating the kind of success that she’s dreamed about. As it often does, though, her definition of success has changed. But the skills, knowledge, and character she has developed in the industry only further enabled her to do so. Brandi and I talk openly and honestly about the trades in general, captivating today's youth, the possibilities and seldom known opportunities available in this line of work, and the type of success that can be achieved.
