In this solo podcast, I share weekend anecdotes including cooking for my kids while my wife is traveling. I analyze a recent batch I roasted and brewed, noting how extraction readings conflicted with my taste perceptions, proving roasters rely too heavily on individual palates over relatable experiences connecting us to coffee drinkers.I urge consumers not to simply trust roasters’ flavor profiles or brew guides, but instead connect with their own preferences.
