This week we do some science with Kevin Bacon and Elizabeth Shue as we discuss HOLLOW MAN, Paul Verhoeven's last American film and one that asks us to think about what it would be like to be invisible, whether Kevin Bacon is an off-putting person in general or just in this movie, how much importance we should project onto the word "Man" in a movie title, and whether we can pretend that gross and offensive depictions of sex crimes are actually an intelligent commentary on the surveillance state.
