Book club 1: Trans Rights Read-a-thon

A spin off podcast from Even Footing Games. We all did a book club for the Trans Rights Read-a-thon and we kept going. Monthly we choose a book on our discord and record ourselves discussing. This first book club we tried to read as many books by trans authors as we could in a week. Books we discuss include: Light from Uncommon Stars, Tomorrow will be Different, Hell Followed with Us, Pet, Dragon Tea Society, An Unkindness of Ghosts, The Deep, and Tripping Arcadia.

As we want to make sure our audience takes care of themselves, the books discussed have the following content warnings: Transphobia, sexual assault, child abuse, racism, homophobia, rape, dysphoria, dead naming, emotional abuse, bullying, racial slurs, cancer, death, body horror, gore, religious bigotry, slavery, police brutality, suicidal thoughts, genocide, murder, drug use, and drug abuse.
