Ireland’s air quality might be in serious trouble, falling short of the World Health Organisations’ strict pollution targets set for 2026.

That’s according to a recent air quality report by the Irish Environmental Protection Agency, which identifies two main culprits: the burning of solid fossil fuels and traffic pollution.
