Join me as I introduce three year principal for Hazel Green High, Current principal of the Madison Virtual Academy, EDD Candidate, and dearest friend, Ms. Jennifer McKinney.
In the first part of this two part journey, we discuss the upbringings of one of our cities most exquisite Administrators. Ms. McKinney shares many parts of her unique journey that has lead her to the amazing impact she is having today.
Second, we get to hear expert insights on what it is like to work at an administrative level, SPECIFICALLY post covid for a Virtual Academy Program. This leads into the importance of self-care and how we perceive ourselves and future learners.
You then get the opportunity to hear expert opinions and first-hand experience on the shifts and challenges that have occurred throughout the generations. We dive into the realm of technology and the double-edged impacts it has had on young adults (and lesser adults) abilities to learn and operate. We also discuss the common stigmas that are wrapped around people and their abilities to learn.
