Peggy walked out in the pasture one spring morning to check on all the newborn calves, and suddenly she was overwhelmed with the feeling to write the Choco book series. She knew she just had to do it. Peggy Boldt wants children to see how Choco deals with these mishaps and what lesson he learns from each of them. Sometimes Choco has to learn the hard way.
