Real Goodness Uncovers Problems

Goodness, in the biblical sense, is often unpopular. It’s constantly pushing for growth and change. It’s a light exposing things about ourselves we don’t like. There is an edge to goodness that is opposed to the high cultural values of the rugged individual and group identity. When we cross these lines in goodness, sparks can fly, but it’s important to push through for the sake of healthy relationship.
