Doubt and Micromanaging Are Love Killers

God cares more about you than I do. He cares more about your friends than you do, so why do you keep thinking you need to rescue them? Our culture tries so hard to avoid offense and hurt feelings that we often miss out on real love. Real love also involves constant reinforcements. Can’t just say ‘I love you’ once and for all, it needs to be heard again and again. God says this to us.
