In one of our businesses that I was involved in that I ran for another family in my early career, we sold industrial supplies and we represented a lot of different manufacturers. And so we had what was known as a line card. And when we'd go call on one of our prospects, we would take them the line card, and the line card would have all the things we sold listed. So for example, I'm going to give you a
little bit about how a line card work. So I've found that a lot of people don't actually understand all the things that we do, and they certainly don't understand all the things that you do. How many of you out there have actually gone into somebody and they said, "Well, I just bought something from XYZ company." You're like, oh, I could have done that. And you missed the sale just because they didn't understand everything that you had available. In this episode, we go over line cards as well as other aspects of a strong marketing plan.
