On today’s show, we interview Evans Prater, founder, Mount Inspiration who shares with us his distilled wisdom on entrepreneurship, taking action, and the challenges of managing a startup.

Back in 2014, after hiking the Appalachian Trail, Evans found the courage and passion to pursue entrepreneurship.

He started off by selling stickers and buoyed by the response, soon moved on to t-shirts.

Like almost any other business, Evans faced numerous teething problems in his first year. Especially, the pandemic was a tumultuous time for him that forced him to think outside the box.

You will learn how Evans managed to scramble up the cash to keep his business afloat during the pandemic.

Starting off by selling wholesale to arriving at a profitable mix of wholesale and retail, Evans has successfully managed to overcome different entrepreneurial challenges over the past couple of years.

Currently, he is working on opening up his fourth retail location in Asheville.

Topics discussed on today’s show include the correct way of managing people, and the importance of managing cash flow.
