Initially John had no plans on joining Mills Manufacturing (his in-law’s business). However, in 1998, John finally changed his mind and decided to work in the family-owned enterprise.

In the next segment of the show, John talks about the many pros and cons of working in a family-owned business. As someone who firmly believes in delegation, John has helped Mills Manufacturing evolve into a professionally managed enterprise.
