Ever wondered how you can turn your hobby and passion into a sustainable business?
On today’s show, we interview Danny Reed of Crooked Creek Holler who shares with us his distilled wisdom on entrepreneurship, following your gut instinct, and turning your passion into profit.
More than two decades back, Danny was pursuing his art degree when he came in contact with a professional tattoo-er. Against everyone’s wishes, Danny decided to drop out of college and pursue his passion.
After eight years of experience, Danny decided to branch out on his own by opening his own tattoo shop in Ashville.
Danny’s conviction paid off big time as his business received an encouraging response from the get-go. And over the years, he has managed to build a dream team and massively scale up his business.
As he hit his thirties, Danny pursued another hobby – fly-fishing.
And akin to his experience with tattoo-ing, Danny also managed to convert his second hobby into a business when he opened up Crooked Creek Holler, a boutique selling handmade fly rods and clothing.
Towards the end, Danny shares why delayed gratification is a hallmark of truly successful entrepreneurs.
This is a show you do not want to miss.
