She is the former president of GEN-Europe and president of the NGO Damanhur Education and held top positions of leadership in the Damanhur community. She is a singer, a speaker, and works as a voice coach and a life coach. Has studied philosophy, sociology, coaching, healing, Ecovillage, and Economic design, and now is trainer and consultant for the Global Ecovillage network.

Macaco has been leading courses about self-development, social and environmental sustainability, conflict resolution, leadership, and community life.
