For seven years, I resisted hiring. Sure I hired freelancers for a few temporary projects, but I couldn't bring myself to take on anybody to be a regular part of operations. Deep down, I had some resistance to hiring, some mental barriers that just wouldn't let me take the plunge. So I kept putting it off - until recently.
