This week on Entertain This!, the boys dive headfirst into the cinematic masterpiece that is 1995's Mortal Kombat. Join Tom as he tries to explain the nuanced plot of an ancient, inter-dimensional fighting tournament, only to be constantly interrupted by Mitch and Hayden who are excited to hear about a movie with a guy named Johnny Cage, which they assume is a prequel to Face/Off. Can our heroes, Liu Kang, a guy who really needs to find a better way to grieve; Sonya Blade, a cop who apparently believes "jurisdiction" is just a suggestion; and Johnny Cage, an actor so bad his only convincing role is “himself,” look deep inside themselves to defeat the Emperor of Outworld’s forces? More importantly, can our hosts look deep inside themselves to find the answers to Mitch’s incredibly difficult trivia questions, like “Is that guy with the metal hat a good guy or a bad guy?” and “Can you explain the plot without yelling ‘FLAWLESS VICTORY!’”
