Grant Stahla, Co-owner of Stahla Services, a nationwide provider of restroom, shower, and ADA trailer rentals again joins Enterprise Radio.
On this episode, the focus will be on the ADA 1 Stall Restroom & Shower Trailer COMBO, all the benefits and the specifics of renting this particular trailer for your needs.
Listen to host Eric Dye & guest Grant Stahla discuss the following:
(Host Eric Dye): Grant, who’s reaching for this trailer? Can you share the kinds of situations it’s built for and how you figure out if it’s got enough capacity for, say, a big event or a work crew?”
(Guest Grant Stahla): Yeah, you bet. So just like the name says, it’s a one stall. So you’re gonna be a little bit limited on how many people you can support, but it’s a really neat trailer that you can plug and play with maybe a bigger shower trailer or a bigger restroom trailer and be able to provide that. The handicap accessible or ADA, which is Americans with Disabilities Act Requirements. So and obviously this has a shower in it. So you’re able to provide a restroom, a shower and handicap accessible facilities, and so that you can just add it on to some other trailers or have it as a standalone unit. We’ve had this in several places where it was a locker room remodel and maybe they had a two stall restroom trailer in addition to this and it was able to support the entire — maybe as a Golf Club or a we even had a church — well, they are remodeling the restrooms, but it’s a really option when you need to support maybe 20 people at a time and you’re able to supplement it with a small other trailer. If it’s just that one trailer, you’re going to be looking at about 15 workers that you can support if it’s an office crew or construction and then that’s gonna be similar for showering as well. And then for events it’s about 1 stall per 75 guests. So this trailer would be about able to support about 75 guests at your event.nSo if that’s all you have, then you’re good to go with just this one unit. If you have a couple 100 people, I would suggest getting this +2 stall restroom trailers.
(Host Eric Dye): What’s a memorable story of this trailer in action? Maybe a festival, a tough job site, or something unexpected?
(Guest Grant Stahla):  You bet. Yeah. So one of them that comes to mind. I was talking about the locker rooms earlier and those are great jobs that it was at. But Costco is 1 experience where we actually had this one stall, ADA restroom and shower combo trailer there and then obviously in Costco you don’t have the showers you don’t need the showers there for the customers and the employees. So we were able to partition off the shower area and still have a handicap accessible restroom Ada trailer there and that was supplemental to an 8 stall restroom trailer. So we were able to support all of the customers and all the employees there with those two trailers.
(Host Eric Dye): Can you break down the cost of getting this trailer? What’s renting it look like—daily, weekly, or long-term—and what about buying one outright?
(Guest Grant Stahla) : You bet. So with this trailer, you’re gonna be looking at about $8000 per month to rent it, and if that’s just with one month. If you’re gonna be looking at two to five months, then that price drops a couple $1000. So it’s $6000 per month for 2 to 5 months for 6 months. Plus, you’ll be at $5300 per month and then for ...
