Life 2 Project - Jane Sleight Leigh

Jane is the Founder of The Life 2 Project and Inspiring Events and New Conscious View.

Over the last ten years Jane has grown into who she really is, found her purpose in life and set out to fulfil that purpose.

After leaving an abusive marriage the real nightmares that face women in her position became startlingly apparent. After trusting in the government catch cry slogan at the time “Violence against women, Australia says NO”, and then finding very little support or protection in that system, Jane quickly began to realise that she had to become self-sufficient, resourceful and find her own solutions.

Today The Life 2 Project has a growing following and support.

Based on Jane’s own experiences, gathered knowledge and research, and her determination to provide effective solutions, the Life 2 Retreats for women in recovery from domestic violence are well and truly underway. Her own healing journey and recovery from trauma continues with the most effective therapies and modalities being integrated into her work.

Jane is also developing an online portal for ongoing learning and connection.

Jane has studied and trained to become a Practitioner and Retreat Facilitator and group leader, gained qualifications in Business Management, taken part in various interviews, studies and papers into the causes and effects of domestic violence, has become a published author and been interviewed in the media.

Jane is on a mission to bust the myth of the ‘victim” and focuses on the strength, tenacity, dedication and drive that women who have left abusive relationships undoubtedly share. With her mantra Heal, Empower, Educate, Connect, women are finding the balance and learning to support their own and each other’s healing.
