Handling Holiday Overwhelm

The gifts, the decorations, the holiday parties, the Christmas cards, and anything else that comes under the category of Holiday Magic isn't magic in practice, is it? It takes time, effort, and money to bring to reality. Some of it's enjoyable, yet some of it can lead to a feeling of Overwhelm.

 But we have to do it all, right?

Wrong! 

As much it might FEEL like the world will end if we let something slide…it won't. So just STOP.

WHAT?!?!

Stick with me baby birds, I've got you on this. On today's episode I'll talk about how what really matters is the magic you feel in the activities you do, not the end result of those activities. 

If it feels like magic while it's in the making, then do it.

If it feels like drudgery and early damnations, then stop it!

I'll go over a lot of holiday musts I no longer follow and how much happier I am because of it. I'll also share how you can tell if some of that holiday magic you create is actually valued by anyone (Hint, it's less so than you think and that's a GOOD thing)

Put another log on the fire and we'll make this the most magical holiday yet.
