In this episode, I unpack some of the reasons as to why I don't use rewards or consequences in the classroom.
I'm talking behaviour charts, crosses on the board, marble jars, raffle tickets, and time in at recess. These strategies work to stamp out behaviour right then and there but they don't help support the child. So you will more than likely keep seeing these behaviours reappear unless you get to the bottom of them!
