Recently I've had people reach out for advice around university and whether (based on the information they have given me), I think they would be 'smart enough' to pursue a university degree. Now is a good time for me to share some of my takeaways from law school and my experience at uni in general, but more importantly, I want to break apart this false assumption that to be successful in study (law school, uni or otherwise), you need to be sufficiently smart enough in the first place. It's not true. I believe it has nothing to do with how 'smart' you are but rather, your own personal qualities and values. In this episode, I'll tell you why.
