Why Women Lose

How many more times do we have to watch women lose before we finally admit the system was never built to protect us? 

In this episode, I connect the dots between three stories that broke my heart in different ways:

Adolescence, the Netflix show that shows how easily young girls are thrown away

Bree Olson’s fight to keep her child because of the shame our culture puts on women who refuse to live quietly

And the devastating story of Cyntoia Brown, who was punished for surviving the kind of violence no one protected her from.

These stories aren’t just sad. They’re a mirror.
Until we stop treating women like objects—something to use, discard, or judge—none of us are truly safe.
