Recently, we’ve explored how violence can affect our patients. Now, let’s how explore how we as emergency medicine providers are affected by violence in our own department. In part I of this two part series, we talk with UC Davis ED Charge Nurse and Assistant Nurse Manager, Brian Stroben, about workplace violence - what it is, how it affects us, and some things we can do to mitigate risk and keep our teams safe.
