Dr. Austin Johnson was a senior resident at the University of Colorado Hospital on the night a gunman opened fire in a movie theater in Aurora, Colorado. He shares his firsthand experience as a physician in the ED that night, and discusses the effects of the event on providers, and how the experience has shaped his practice.
