With family roots in Wilmington that date back to the 1700s, Melody Diaz Williams has a profound love and respect for the Cape Fear region, its rich history, and the many communities within it. Her love of the area was the driving force behind her relocation back from the West Coast in 2011. She blends her work life with active community engagement, and is a firm believer of supporting local businesses. Melody is a Board Member with Tidal Creek Cooperative Market, volunteers with a regional Chihuahua rescue group, and with area beach clean-ups. Additionally, she enjoys natural wellness education, and is often a trusted source for natural and organic product recommendations for the home. You may spot Melody out being led around downtown by her faithful friend and Chihuahua, Frankie Ocean.
