Friends, I have observed many good and functional botanical gardens to have a lovely mix of shrubbery, trees, herbs, veggies, and beautiful ornate flowers.  I feel like this week's selections echo such a garden - only an Electrik one!  As I thought about what to play this week, I wanted to remember some of the tracks that made me happy when they were new - the ones that supercharged me to a place of sheer unconsciousness whilst dancing; a brief pause for me to forget whatever it was that was gnawing at my mind.  For this Electrik Cake, as I grow in the "craft," as some I admire call it, I punched my fears in the face and wrestled through blending genres (some more successful than others) that really have no business being blended with each other... to some.  Then I thought about the idea of umami.  About things baking like using avocado in chocolate cookies, or, mixing a savory item like Tamari into one of my fruit-forward Zero-Proof Cocktails.  The flavor profile might not be enjoyable to all, but some will find fun and delight in the presentation.  And isn't that like our mission?  We are to be all things to all people that we might...Want to go deeper?
