Welcome to the Electrik Cake with Coco Street Artist Spotlight featuring Nothin' but Tasha LaRae! International recording artist Tasha LaRae is blazing her trail around the world with soulful house & R&B vocals that will keep you dancing and feeling optimistic about life. Although her roots are deep in the Midwest (she was born & raised in Omaha, Nebraska), relocating to Atlanta Georgia has given Ms. LaRae the inspiration and opportunities needed to develop her unique sound and shape her artistry. In 2007, her soulful vocals caught the attention of Speech from 2-time Grammy award winning group, Arrested Development. By the following year, Ms. LaRae began traveling with the iconic hip-hop trailblazers as their new lead female vocalist. In 2016, Ms. LaRae released her first house music single, “Find My Way”, on Quantize Recordings and it opened the door for a flood of hit singles on Traxsource. In 2025 Tasha's new album, called "Right Now," is a call to action. A reminder that the only moment we truly have is this one.
